Changing ISP

I’ve been using Virgin (or its predecessors) as my ISP and phone supplier for over 10 years, but it has become increasingly obvious that I’ve been paying way more than I need to for the service I get, so I decided to make a change. Contacting Virgin seems extraordinarily difficult, and when I did finally get through I was treated VERY aggressively. I might have considered keeping a cheaper contract with them going for a few months, in parallel with the new supplier, just to keep the existing email address, but the hard sell/aggressive attitude of the person I spoke to meant that I feel well rid of Virgin asap. So, if you want to contact me, forget the blueyonder email address and use the gmail one instead.
