After the fall

A wet morning again, and given that I’m still not at my best after yesterday’s fall I haven’t been out. I took the opportunity to not only update the iPad to the new iPad OS, but also to play around with some of the multi-tasking features. I find the gestures are not only extremely difficult to remember, but are nigh-on impossible to execute to give the required result – it is actually far easier and more effective just to press the home button and pull up the required app in full-scree mode from there.

I made the mistake of following some of the parliamentary proceedings later in the day: Trump and the majority of his party in the House of Commons reached what was, even by their standards, a new level of performance. Deeply depressing.
