Last of the tulips

Taking a break from the birds, partly because of the lack of variety – I’ve not seen any chaffinches recently, and nuthatches, which were regulars in recent years, are completely missing at present. I’d also hoped to see the occasional blackcap, though not on the feeders, and willow warblers; both were visitors in past years, but not so far this year. No swifts or house martins either, though maybe they will come soon.

About Mike Hessey

I'm a BOF (Boring Old Fellow) and MOS (Miserable Old Soul) whose main interests are photography, cycling, walking and computers. Regrettably recent problems with my legs, back and heart have reduced the cycling and walking.
