Bright eyes

I got the naturewatch camera out for this photo, which is one of the reasons for the low quality. The way it operates is also quite limited for the squirrels – as the squirrel first arrives on the feeder it takes a photo (so usually moving, back turned etc), but then ignores it until it makes a large movement, which is typically when it leaves, so this is also no good. There is no way to fire it when you see the squirrel posing nicely.

About Mike Hessey

I'm a BOF (Boring Old Fellow) and MOS (Miserable Old Soul) whose main interests are photography, cycling, walking and computers. Regrettably recent problems with my legs, back and heart have reduced the cycling and walking.
