Rare visitor

I rarely see long tailed tits in the garden, and it is even more unusual for them to come onto the bird feeders, so this was a great treat. I’d been hoping for great spotted woodpeckers, which are regulars, and both male (see below) and female came, but the long tailed tit was certainly the star of the day.

The light was dreadful all day – I don’t think I have used such a high ISO before, and the shutter speed was still lower than I would have liked, and the lens was wide open.
