Due for cleaning

A rather dirty pannier tank with an autocoach. Although this series of panniers were not equipped for push-pull operation, according to reports autocoaches were  sometimes used with engines with no auto operation, just using them as a coach and running the engine round the coach for return journeys.

The weathering was done by TMC, and they also fitted the crew – most of my trains are not equipped with drivers or firemen (though I have some to be fitted to the Double Fairlie).

About Mike Hessey

I'm a BOF (Boring Old Fellow) and MOS (Miserable Old Soul) whose main interests are photography, cycling, walking and computers. Regrettably recent problems with my legs, back and heart have reduced the cycling and walking.
