The amaryllis is looking good. It’s so tall that it is rather difficult to put a good background against it though, and it was a struggle managing to get this photo.
Well past its best, but soldiering on. That might also be an apt description of myself as well!
This is meant to be a feeder, but twice today I found a squirrel snuggled up inside, apparently not feeding, but just using it as a draft-free cosy shelter with a nice soft bed of seeds to sleep on.
A lovely colour, but rather mis-shappen, and this is the only flower on it this year, and only 3 leaves. I fear that it is nearing the end of its life …….
It’s good to see some bulbs pushing their way up, though some time to wait until they flower!

This experiment was shot on a phone, I then produced a Polaroid print and then photographed the print! All done today – not exactly instant photography!
